is looking for a knowledgeable, hard-working and reliable person to be a valuable member of our Technical Services Team at our family-owned landscape, and maintenance company in Atlantic Beach.
This position offers TOP PAY to detail oriented, production-minded individuals!!!!!! The Irrigation and Lighting Technician will be in charge of designing and installation of irrigation systems, both new and existing, as well as landscape lighting.
Perform initial irrigation/lighting inspection, providing detail analysis of system Draft inspection sheet showing items completed during initial inspection and repairs/upgrades needed Analysis of controller, rain sensor and overall coverage Breakdown of costs associated with needed repairs Analysis of lighting, if applicable Handwritten proposal as needed for same day jobs Purchases parts required to repair, create, or renovate irrigation/lighting systems from FIS.
Maintaining accurate irrigation and lighting inventory Performing job duties in a safe manner and following all safety standards.
Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Two years of irrigation experience required.
Lighting and Landscape experience also very beneficial.
Must have 2-wire knowledge.
Have knowledge of irrigation components and operations with the ability to troubleshoot irrigation/lighting systems to determine reparation needs Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to converse in a professional manner Requires a motivated, take charge person that can follow directions and easily.
Basic computer skills Flexibility is important, as schedules changes very quickly.
This position may require one to be able to perform physical work and heavy lifting.
Ability to lift 50 lbs on occasion and 25 lbs regularly.
Valid and FL Driver's License is required.
Compensation is based on experience and will be extremely competitive.
We would also be willing to support the right person in getting their irrigation and lighting license.
