Your Opportunity Fleet Landing currently has over 140 healthcare beds including a post-acute unit, long-term care, assisted living, and memory care.
Fleet Landing is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian who is responsible for ensuring high quality clinical nutritional services care to Residents within the continuing care community.
The RD will collaborate with culinary & dining departments to ensure nutritionally balanced, professionally prepared and properly served meals are consistently delivered in a dignified and gracious manner.
The RD will ensure that Fleet Landing maintains the highest levels of cleanliness, sanitation and infection control as set forth by AHCA and CDC guidelines by conducting routine audits of our culinary and dining services operations.
The Dietitian plays a vital role in our emergency management plan and will assist with planning initiatives as needed.
The Dietitian acts as a resource for ALL residents and will help promote Well inspired nutritional education across campus.

Responsibilities:
Maintain balanced departmental budget.
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on Residents considered being at risk for malnutrition, including but not limited to admission, quarterly, annual and significant change assessments.
Review care plans based on Resident needs and revise as needed.
Review electronic medical records for compliance, including UDAs and missing reports.
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on Residents considered being at risk for malnutrition, including but not limited to admission, quarterly, annual, and significant change assessments.
Provide nutritional counseling to Residents across the continuum of care.
Participate in Well Inspired Education Series and events.
Maintain updated policy & procedure manuals to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.
Evaluate Residents enrolled in home health based on consultations.
Qualifications:
Required licensure:
RD, LD/N Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition (Preferred)
Experience:
A minimum of five years long-term care experience strongly preferred.
